Treasure-trove?

Post by PaulFurman »

A place near me seems to have got a load of new stuff. Probably I just got sucked up in the fun of browsing the pages but at least I could go look at it in person. These are ebay links so will go away... they are all buy-it-now or best offer, generally around $50 to $150 except the first one:

UNITRON: Adjustable Microscope (10X, 15X, 40X)
That looks like a camera connection on top?

Small Optical Lab Jack (Adjusts up to 5" off surface)

XY 2-AXIS Optical Linear STAGE with 2 Micrometers

OLYMPUS MICROSCOPE 2-Axis STAGE CARRIER

Schneeberger: Linear Slide: Linear Motion 33mm travel

A light, I suspect -- as mentioned in the text.

Indeed a light. The guy is hallucinating about the value of this "toolmakers" microscope. If he really wants to sell it he will net maybe $250 from what I have observed in the last ten years.

Well, he admits not knowing much about microscopes... more than me <g>.

Here's another cool over-priced item:
Sony XC-73 CCD Camera with Fiber Optic Light Attachment, not the camera or weird right angle lens but the fiber optic light setup.
