Ryan, welcome aboard!

Your flower is clearly a member of the daisy or aster family (Asteraceae). More precise than that, I can't say.

The small yellow towers probably look a lot like these Cosmos flowers, except that yours are entirely yellow.

Looks like genus Aster, not just family. I googled 'Rocky Mountain Aster' & Aster stenomeres looks close. Asters are insect/butterfly magnets.
