Green lacewing, eh? The eyes are darker than I'm used to. They darken after death. But in scanning the web, I find other pictures of this species that look very alive and also have dark eyes.

I suspect the eye color changes a lot depending on the angle of illumination, but I haven't tested this idea.

You are wright Rik,it is a question of illumination.I have done an other photo where the eyes are green/yellow:

In this case the illumination is a 11W fluo tube.
