The sculpturing looks right and I think the Small White does not group theirs so closely, if at all.

Thanks Harold. That was my understanding about the egg laying habits of the two 'cabbage whites'.

These little patches of eggs quickly turn into a big bunch of caterpillars which eat entire small brassica plants almost overnight...
