Thought I would share the results of my stack of a common bottle fly.
Both images shot with a canon 5d mark ii, diffused macro twin lite, and 65mm 1-5x macro lens
First image was shot at 3.5x, ISO 100, 1/125 @ f/5, 27 frames stacked with ZS Pmax
Second image was shot at 5x, ISO 125, 1/125 @ f/4.5, 24 frames stacked with ZS Pmax
Questions and comments welcome. Sorry I do not have specific species information on this fly, only the common name.
Also would like to point out that this fly has the same color changing hairs pointed out in NikonUsers post from a while back. When viewed at different angles, they are either silver or black--noticible in both of these pictures
