Pteris sori

I dont know if you all know your ferns but I have a Pteris in my bathroom, and it is currently producing lots of spores along the underside of its fronds, at the edges.

Unfortunatley they are quite thick and its a job getting a good bit in focus!

And then I flipped the leaf over, as this has a nice pattern on it, the pattern didnt show but I did see some stray spores!
They must be tiny, smaller than pollen grains as this is 125X!

Does that mean you are going to turn your bathroom into a jungle with all the spores growing. I bet the spiders would love it It looks like a little airsack!

Some great shots there Cyclops, I have observed these myself many times. A bit interesting they are.
