Here's a thumbnail summary...
You're using "2x lifesize" as a shorthand for "filling the frame with an 18 mm subject" --- the size subject that would be 2x lifesize on 35mm film.
That's fine as long as the people you're talking with use it the same way.
Just be aware that "2x lifesize" means different things to different people, so watch out for possible confusion. If you're talking with an optics guy, he'll think it means something altogether different.
