here is a recent picture of butterfly wing scales (Hamadryas februa ferentina), shoted with a Nikon D70s and a Nikon U10 0.22, used without eyepiece (like a Luminar, to be clear) on a modified Leitz microscope. Stacking of 8 pics, by CZP.
