Interesting. I know Canon raised prices on its lenses (in the USA) a few weeks ago. For those of us in the USA, the collapsing dollar is going to make things even pricier--I'm one of those longing for a "upgrade" to the Canon 5D, but if that ever comes, I suspect the price will be shocking.
