Worry about the image that comes out of the box, rather than the box itself.

And of course, when I say Tom and Danny "joined" on April 20, 2004, that's the date that shows up in their old postings.

But they did far more than "join", they were actually part of the "founders" of the forum. ( :smt038 :smt038)... it wouldn't be here without them!

13 Jul 2004 Hmm Charlie, been around awhile as well mate

I remember Tom said about Charles Krebs and at the time I just said, "Who's that". Well it didn't take too long to find out at all. Been knocked out ever since with that guy's work and images, Charles who

Took us a a week or so after those dates to go live and we dragged Mike into it. Sue is part of the furniture like the rest of us now. To a large extent, she has been the sensible backbone for us here and keeps our feet on planet earth. A few changes here and there and we have Doug, Rik and Ken. A huge thanks to them that we still make sense at all  It was started mainly for the microscopy folks out there, but needed macro to make up the numbers. And here we are today, seems like only 2 years ago.

We also wanted a forum that had a huge data base of info and examples of how to and what not to do. That has been done + 10 fold. Totally amazed with the info on these forums. It makes it totally unique !!

Mike still supplies the picks prizes. Go Mike. A massive thanks that he still does this for here.

Anyway, rambling and memories.

All the best folks and thanks to everyone here, we wouldn't exist without you.

The team.

Congrats all round are due - I've been around since the early days also, and have watched the group positively blossom, so thanks to everyone for a great resource and especially to the administators for their hard work.

Cheers!
