Bee
Photographed at my local nature reserve in ameadow last week. Not sure as to identity, although the nearest I can find is Dasypoda altercator - can anyone confirm or offer an alternative?

Though we lean upon the same balustrade, the colours of the mountain are different.

Background is a little hot but other than that, the bee looks pretty good. I like ISO 80 when I am using the G7 and I shoot in the manual mode of operation, with everything except focusing. Sometimes all that auto stuff does not see the subject the way we do. I let the camera take care of focusing though but you can use manual focusing too if you want.
