Scales

Post by Olympusman »

Thanks. I'm experimenting with top lighting scales using a twin gooseneck halogen lamp illuminator. The downside over transmitted light is that I can't maximize sharpness by stopping down the condenser, so I'm pretty much using the 5X and 10X objectives wide open, so contrast is a problem. Not enough working distance under the 20X objective to get any light in.
