On paper this new lens on paper seems to be a great pick for nature macro
100mm focus length, electronic aperture control, decent working distance, twist control from infinity focus to 2x macro, no autofocus.
I've picked one up and taken a few test shots, seems to be a good compromise between a 100mm macro with 1x and the Canon MP-E 65mm.

It's pretty reasonable as there's no IS/AF but they are not really needed for flash assisted 1x+ macro.
