Upclose Series - Paper Wasps

I am trying my hands on making amateur macro videos using my available equipment.
As a part of my Upclose Series, my first subject are paper wasps.
Paper wasps are known to be fantastic and caring wasps who make their nests out of chewed up wood or other material. They are known to be good parents too.
I tried my hands in telling a story via the video (choice of music). I am new to the video world so please excuse the editing mistakes.
This is part 1 of the video. More will come up soon.

I am using the Wemacro rail to make minute adjustments for focus. Still, it is kind of challenging that you cannot judge where the wasp is going to go next. By the time you think the wasp is in one spot, it moves to the next. The movement is in micrometers.

The magnification is approx 1.5x here. I am using the Canon 80D along with the Canon MPE 65mm lens. For lighting, I used a normal IKEA Janso led light. Have to improve on the diffusion part there.

These paper wasps were in my garden which gave me plenty of time to spread out the gear. Though the wind was out of my control and given the magnification, gentle breeze also caused huge movements.

Paper Wasps Video 2

The second video of the paper wasps. This time the focus is on the eggs, larva and the nest design.

The same equipment is used in this video.
