leaf cell structure

Post by JH »

Trying to have a deeper look inte the cell structure. Used an 20x Olympus water dipping lens, with my set up this is 88.8x on sensor. First picture Helicon, stereo and film Zerene:

Cropped stereo:

Short film for those that have trouble seeing stereo:

I always have some dust. It would bee nice if Zerne could use an out of focus picture for automatic dust controll.

Best regards

That 3D image is stunning. Especially that stomata floating above everything else. SUPERB!

Very deep! Is it a peeled leaf?

Thanks for the very nice comments!

I have tried 3D models and video - but stereo is at least for me the best way to visualize this type of (semi)transparent objects. What might look like "junk" in a 2D pictures can turn out to be a part of an interesting transparent structure.

No - just submerged into water - and enough WD to play around with the light.
