Salts from the brewery supply store - if I remember correctly, mix of the malic & tartaric acids. Nikon D7200, Nikon BD 20x 0.46 infinity, Optiphot, DF/Oblique/Polarisation done with Nikon Abbe 1.25 conversion kit, Optiphot polarising adapter, Optiphot modular light source and Surplusshed 125mm achromat (more details are here)

Thanks, I was surprised also (after initial tests), that with this simple conversion insert was possible to get pretty nice results.
