PZO PhZ setup

Post by Smokedaddy »

Sure would appreciate it if anyone in the know would outline (like walk me through step by step) the setup procedure for this for my PZO Biolar? Also, do I use my MPI-5 head with this setup? Looks to be in great shape to me, including the objective phase rings.

PS: I thought I posted this here before but didn't see it.

K3PhZ is really meant be used with 100W halogen.
MPI-5 head should be removed or set to 0 / analyzer out.

Setup is straightforward. Center phase rings as normal, just turn under-condenser polarizer to switch between inner / outer / mixed phase ring, which result in different phase contrast effects.
