phase contrast q's

As Ichthy said, it appears more noticeable to him with 40x. I don't have any others of lower mag or another 40 to test against, just my other achro's. It takes quite a long period these days to get the money together for 'discretionary spending' on such frivolities. I'm really enjoying phase contrast though, so as soon as I'm able I'll be getting another lens.

If you do a test I'll be very interested in seeing the results. The test Charles did was with a quality 10/0.30 and reflected light which may not show much difference anyway but of course I'm guessing here.
