Forum interruption on Nov 8

Post by rjlittlefield »

There was a most annoying server glitch for an hour or two, around 8-9 am PST on November 8.

Our front page loaded fine, but anyone trying to get into the forums was greeted with cryptic messages about script errors, too many connections, etc. I couldn't even access the forum database using our hosting provider's own control panel!

Fortunately, a few chats with our hosting provider's support staff seem to have cleared up the problem.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Well never experienced that one Rik, that would have put me at work about that time. However I have noticed in the afternoons here, a bit of a slow down in pages uploading, taking way to much time but I do not get any error messages. :)
