Post by Arwin »

Hello,

I'm pretty new to the forum. I'm Arwin Lubbers from the Netherlands.

I've not don really much stacking work but i like to do it.

This is my lates project. Ask i'm speaking i'm now bussy with a new butterfly and this one is much more work than this one.

This butterfly is a cabbage Butterfly ( Pieris rapae )

I'ts made with a Canon 5D mark III with a Tamron 180 mm 3.5 with a Canon 50 mm 1.4 reversed on it.

It contains 3640 photo's in 55 stacks.

Photo's are made with a manual stacking rail.

Lightning are 2 studio flashes.

Greetings:

I'm sure the forum size limit doesn't do it justice. Have you uploaded a buigger version anywhere?
What did you use for stitching the stack output images? Any problems with alignment?

Hello,

I've not uploaded a bigger version yet somewhere.

Stacking done with Zerene. Stitching with photoshop.

Alignment was pretty good.
