(Though my class of 13 year olds will probably ask "Is there an App for that? ")

What frequency RF is possible from a chip like this, by the way?
Chris,

Thanks.

This is a circuit implemented in IBM 9HP (90nm Silicon Germanium BiCMOS) that can produce an RF power waveform from 0 to about 10GHz with a digital input. Thus the name, "Direct Digital to Antenna". It's intended to replace conventional RF transmitters in power areas less than ~10 watts with a much simpler and with broadband frequency coverage. based on my 7903016 and 7939857 US Patents from 2009.

Sounds like you've got some inquisitive kids, that must be encouraging and trying at the same time :D

Best,

Mike

Lou, Chris,

Not sure if this is what's needed, but here's the "Cross Eye" version. It's a very small file at 1024 pixels across.

Best,

Mike

Mike,
Looks like you have to swap left picture with right one ;)

How big is this whole package? I expect you said, somewhere.

Kids are fine. Teachers are bewildering. Parents are plain mad, keep away!

Think it's about 4mm by 5mm.

Ooops, my fault, did not explain correctly ... :?
It has to be done inside Zerene - if your photo, let's say 000, was on the right and 007 on the left, you have to move your photo to the opposite side-000 to the left and 007 - to the right (make left window active and from the output photos choose 000, next make right window active and choose 007). And afterwards - generate stereo pair. Now your stereo looks "inwards" . PS flip will not help.

Your chips semiconductor photos are among the best I have ever seen. Which 4X Inf. 0.1NA objective was used for this photo? Does it cover the FF sensor of D800?

harisA,

Thank you.

The 4X is from WeMacro.
http://www.wemacro.com/?product=4x-infi ... ctive-lens

It does not cover the FF sensor and vignettes, but because of the subject orientation this doesn't affect the image. Of course it would be better with the smaller DX sensor, but my vertical setup uses the D800E now.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Mike

Saul,

Probably not going to be able to get to this anytime soon. That will take too much time, sorry.

Michael,

Thanks. I haven't done any of this type of processing with Zerene nor PS before, so this animation and cross-eyed processing is all new to me.

So what do you do with this cross-eyed image now?

Cheers,

Mike
