Hoverfly landing approach

Post by Diogenes »

Image

This was taken hand held (elbows on garden table!), with a D200 and Nikon 105mm macro.
Lens was set to F22 to render the background dark, (brown fence, about 2 metres away), and flash (SB25) pointed straight ahead.
The best bit about shots like this is not knowing what you're getting until you have it up on the PC screen.

The limits are 1024 square, with a data limit of 300kB - normally enough at something around 7 or 8 quality for a JPEG image.

"could go bigger"!

OK, thanks......I just spotted this in the Posting guidelines. (when in doubt, read the instructions........!!)
I think I've cracked it. I need to play with CS3 a bit more. I'll edit the previous post and add the revised image.
