Closterium and Bdelloid rotifer

Post by kit1980 »

This is done on Omax microscope with a 40x Nikon CFN plan objective.

The camera is a micro four thirds mirrorless Olympus OM-D E-M10 mark II (connected via "direct projection").

Singe frames, some post-processing (saturation, sharpness, etc.)

I'm still very new with micro, and I would appreciate suggestions and comments (click on the image to see larger version on Flickr).

kit1980, welcome aboard!

The images look good.
With static subjects like Closterium you could do focus stacking to have all details in focus.
You could also implement oblique illumination to improve contrast and to get some 3D look
