'The Queen of Trees' - film about Fig Trees.

Post by puzzledpaul »

I have no idea whether this is available on DVD etc - but if you get the chance to watch it, I'd recommend it, as it's superb :)

A well-narrated prog that's splendidly filmed throughout, with macro footage to die for - even the music is well chosen (imo) and evocative for anyone who's worked in Africa.

(Apols if this has been mentioned before - haven't seen such reference)

Yes, it's on dvd

This looks great, but I can't seem to get my eye on the link that lets me order it by DVD. Can you help me out with that?

Thanks much,

Rik - hope this helps ... I googled 'queen of trees dvd' and got this when checking whether one existed or not.

I think 'thirteen' was also mentioned in the film credits - I have it on tape and watched it again yesterday during a tape sort / tidy / label session :)

Although we'll all have different povs about raising children - I couldn't help but think about the wonderful stuff theirs are experiencing / enjoying.

(Am not connected in any way, btw - just think it's a superb prog :) )
