Moth eggs on leaf

I can across some moth eggs on the underside of a morning glory leaf. It was late and getting dark so flash was used to photograph the eggs.

I noticed the tiny caterpillars that could be seen within, so for the second shot I placed the flash directly behind the leaf for an unusual look "into" the eggs. As seen from the top the eggs are about .7mm in diameter.

WOW...eye popping stuff. They look pretty creepy back lit like that. In the micro shot, thay look like real cats instead of caterpillers :smt103

Really neat shots. The lower one is very creative for a field shot.
