Cheap Diffuser

Post by JTaylor »

Hi all, thought I would post a shot of my diffuser. It doesn't amount to much, a couple of cheap plastic round containers, the bottom of the larger one cut out to let the smaller one slide in tight, just a wedge fit.
Cut around the lid of the larger one and place a coffee filter on it, then put the lid back on. cut a hole in the bottom of the smaller bowl to fit your flash.

For what is is worth:
The SB800 flash will work remotely without the need of the cord; just set the camera's flash to Master and the SB800 to Remote.

” I suppose you are an entomologist ? “
” Not quite so ambitious as that, sir. I should like to put my eyes on the individual entitled to that name.
No man can be truly called an entomologist,

I have a Flash disc thing by Meking from Amazon, it's prety damned good and cheap for a big soft diffused light for my SB800, and it folds in to a very small pouch. It was from Amazon.
