Rodenstock Apo-Gerogon 9/210 which thread exactly?

Post by 3dreal »

I know thread is M50 on Rodenstokc Apo-Gerogon 9/210 but is it M50 X1 or M50 x0.75? if only M50 is written then its X1? also in rodenstock-list only M50.

I don't know, but!

'The Big List of Enlarging Lenses' ( http://photocornucopia.com/1061.html ) shows many Rodenstock enlarging lenses with an M50 thread and they are all 50x0.75. Not one of them is 50x1.0. The Gerogon is presumably an engraving/process lens, is that right? They might use different thread conventions than the enlarging lenses, not sure.

All these are 50x0.75, not one of them is 50x1.0, so if I had to guess then I would guess that yours is too:

Rogonar-S 4.5/135
Rogonar-S 4.5/150
Rodagon 5.6/150
Rodagon 5.6/180
Apo-Rodagon-N 4/150
Rodagon-WA 5.6/120
Rodagon-G 5.6/105
Rodagon-G 5.6/150
