Found this site today. I am retired & an avid macro nut. I shoot with either a Nikon D300 or a Nikon D7100...While I own 6 different "true" MF & AF macro lenses, my go to lens is an older MF "Lester Dine" 105mm F2.8 macro from the mid 1980's. It's normally paired with a matching "Lester Dine ring/point light. I do, on occasion, use an SB 600 speed light paired with a 6" X 8" softbox for illumination. I'm posting some images from an unusual to capture event in another post.... Looking forward to participating in this forum.

Welcome to the forum Scr... Mr Scott Smile
Interesting selection of lenses there. The Lester Dine has a good reputation, for sure.
But whatever you have in your "Full Extension" shot, might be better reversed..
