Good job removing the dust trails.

I think we are still having trouble with the words "actual pixels" and "crop" and "resize".

Tell me please, what kind of camera are you using, and how large are the images that you have it making?

I would like to look at this last image without any cropping or resizing. Can you upload it to your website, please, at its original full size as it came out of Zerene Stacker? I am thinking, do the same as you did with http://www.dliekis.lt/wp-content/upload ... /zuvis.jpg . Thanks!

Sorry, i accidentally uploaded web version of last one. Here it is unresized:

And here is a new one (Isopoda sp. collected in Cloaca maxima - Rome). 42 pictures were stacked (I'm really happy with this one):

I would really like to see your version of fish scales. I've been experimenting with several aquarium fish spiecies and each of them revealed different shape and texture of scales.

I'm using Pentax K7 at highest resolution

Thank you for posting this image. I confirm that this image is size 4672 x 3104, as expected for a K7 at highest resolution.

However, as I wrote earlier:

Let me illustrate what I meant.

Here is your whole frame, resized to 16.67%, marked up to indicate the original size of the full frame, and showing a selected area of size 1003 x 607 pixels:

Here is that selected region of size 1003x607 pixels, shown at 100% actual pixels, cropped, and not resized:

What you showed me earlier (at http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/u ... 2016_1.jpg) had been resized by quite a bit. It was much smaller than actual pixels as they came out of Zerene Stacker.

Sorry, I don't think I have ever shot fish scales.
And here is a new one (Isopoda sp. collected in Cloaca maxima - Rome). 42 pictures were stacked (I'm really happy with this one):
Excellent. It looks good to me too, so perhaps our goal has been achieved: everyone is happy!
