Borage

The backside of a borage flower with adjacent buds. We planted these many years ago and have had self seeded plants every years since. Nikon D50 with Micro Nikkor 105 mm at f/16, 1/125 sec hand held.

I like the composition of the flower. The background is excellent and the flower, with the red –blue combination and the white hairs, is stunning. The buds in the corner work very well to round out an awesome picture IMO Doug. Did I mention the lighting on the flower

Now that's a lovely flower. Reminds me of a national flag of some kind :D
The green background works well.

Great perspective of a lovely flower. Love everything about it including the tack sharp capture.
