Hum yes i use a manfrooto plate, excellent for me

.
I move my GF5 but i move sometimes object.... But clearly it's manfrooto plate who is moved for stacking.
In fact i have a precision who increase with magnification. With a 20x precison is 0.01 micrometer.
An scientific french forum they mock about my system. But my system is simple and i dont' need microsope plate, motorisation or precision system.
I give an example with a 20x here... For 40x i have a problem with vibration but precison is near 1 nanometer.... And my system is an infinite system or i have just à 210 mm objective and for moment i don't try to change distance. It's not usefull a 40x for minerals.
I understand perfectly yours systems but mine is very different and simple. whan i have built it, i would to get around problems of precision. I have finished. I have tested empirically two solutions. I have take one. For moment i never seen my system somewhere else.
My system is good for all objective and i can use 135 mm or 10 mm objective. I take phote with the same technic with 0.1 mm physic precison (manfrotto is very good for that) but optically precision increase...
My system can take 2000 photo if it's usefull. No limit, small price, best results. Motorisation is possible but i dont' use. I take 1 photo/s and it's fast.
