Nikon E Plan and CFWN on AO Series 4 Micrscope for DSLR

Hi,

I have an AO Series 4 scope, and recently acquired a Nikon Labophot 2. I have a trinocular head and made an DIY extension tube to connect to the Nikon DSLR.

The Labophot 2 only has a binocular head.

Since both scopes and objectives are 160 TL, I mounted the Nikon E Plans that came with the Labophot 2 and the CFWN eyepieces to the Series 4 scope.

Will this cause any image degradation?

Also, the DSL tube has no optics in it. Does the Nikon E Plan need compensating eyepiece to correct for abberations?

What about the AO Spencer optics?
