Nice images. I moved this thread to Technical and Studio Photography. The "Macro and Closeup Archives" forum is for old threads, before we split Nature apart from Technical & Studio.

Depends Chris, sometimes I go to a mine and I'm going with the helmet / lights, peak, etc.. Other times I'll deposits in the mountains or quarries. But I almost never go with a camera for several reasons; the minerals usually come dirty, the camera does get dust, etc.

Almost all the photos I do are at home after cleaned once reduced minerals.

Put four minerals more.

Best regards, Oscar.

Mimetite. Grube Haus Baden. Badenweiler. Germany.

Pyromorphite. La Montañesa. La Navalagamella. Madrid. Spain.

Very small Gold Pepite with quartz and magnetite grains. Spain. <0,2 mm.

Cacoxenite. Mina La Paloma. Zarza la Mayor. Cáceres. Spain.
