New illustrated book for all pond critter microscopists

Post by Gerd »

I'd like to introduce a new book to for all pond creature enthusiasts:
Martin Kreutz, Wilhelm Foissner :
The Sphagnum Ponds of Simmelried in Germany: A Biodiversity Hot-Spot for Microscopic Organisms
This isn't a field guide for critter determination, not all existing species are listed her.
But this is a gorgeous illustrated book of the biodiversity of that moor pond in Germany.
A must have book, in English language.
You find some samples here: http://www.lifecells.de/, the homepage of the authors.
Dr. Kreutz kept sampling an documenting the pond critters for about 20 years !
This book is the fantastic result.
You can purchase it here :

Thanks,
Gerd
