Colouful grease

I use spots of Lanolin to raise the coverglass from the slide when looking at aquatics.
Scanning a slide with an Olympus S Plan FL 2x, with an Oly simple polarizer + 1.25x intermediate lens + 2.5x relay lens I accidentally moved over one of the grease spots; rotating the lower polarizer gave these:
