Diatoms at the school lab

Post by Pau »

Although I'm not a true beginner 8), I think this is the adequate forum:
This one was shot at my school lab. The microscope was set up by a 14 yr old boy following my instructions.
Details: Oly CH chinese clone microscope. 40X achromat obj., 10X eyepiece, oblique illumination whith Mathias wedge. Nokia phone 2Mpx camera hand held.

Yes, you can see, arranged in diagonal near the green alga, three and half living diatoms with its brown-golden chloroplasts, and a dead one. It's a freshwater sample.
