Mosquito wings

A new test with a infinity microscope objective, it is the same objective as Rogelio and Rik have used the Nikon CFI PLAN 10X/0.25 NA 10.5 WD recently arrived, in the first shots exceeds the quality of the CF PLAN EPI 10X/0.30 NA 16.5 WD. The new one is sharp corner to corner in a DX sensor as Rik showed in their pictures with the Canon zoom. Mounted on the bellows with the Raynox DCR-150, even using short distance between lenses, I see no CA!

Is a set of 100 images stacked in ZS Pmax without retouching.

Excellently captured, Joaquim!
Especially those interference colours (well, at least that's what I would think they are) of the wings.

BTW, great avatar of yours too, the grumpiest looking mirlo/blackbird I have ever seen.

Very nice results, a bit noisy but it is due to Pmax for sure
The raynox DCR-150 thing is very clever

Planapo, the blackbird make a very nice pose for me!

Seta666, I really cannot view that noise... probably the DMap mode is cleaner but I think PMax is better for scales and similar details, thank you for the criticism.
