ch2 vs bh2
Hello all. In my search for a suitable microscope I had decided upon a BH2 with some help from the members here. While looking for a reasonable price I came across an equal amount of CH2 microscopes for sale at a very nice price and was wondering besides being "last years model" what truly are the differences. In looking on several websites I truly can not find much difference. I am hoping someone here has had hands on with both and can enlighten me. Many thanks in advance.
The BH-2 is heavier and should be sturdier than the CH-2.
The BH-2 has:
brighter lamps
built-in field iris diaphragm
wider range of condensers
interchangeable stages
interchangeable nosepieces (not on BHTU)
The interchangeable nosepiece allows dark field metallurgical objectives (non-RMS thread) and reflected lighting to be used.
