Off topic mode

I was wondering if your HMC objectives can be used for simple brightfield photography (without the hmc condenser). I have heard that there is a small loss in image quality . I would be gratefoul if you could post a realative image

Very nice images! An interesting subject that I was not familiar with. In gathering a little more info I came across a short pdf that has a nice description (but the photo does not come close to yours )

It was a Hoffman Modulation Contrast HMC 40 Plan 0.65 na 160/0.17 objective plus the HMC 100 Plan 1.25 na 160/0.17
