Tom, welcome to the forum! :D

This is a most interesting picture -- the wings are like a stained-glass mosaic. Very nice! Shot with natural light, you say, and a tripod. Yes, most interesting... :-k

I would speculate that you cast some spell over this creature, but then I would have to admit that I am a fan of Harry Potter. ("Rik, really?!" )

Care to tell us more, or show us some more pictures? :D

Hi ya' Tom, :D

I'm glad you've stopped by. :D Youcaptured the texture of the wings very well. Each cell between the veins is like a facet. Nicely done. :D

Best regards as always, :D

Let me also welcome you to the forums Tom. Everyone seems to be getting these colorful dragonflies. I guess where I live the only thing colorful is the language. A wonderful first post Tom! :D

Hey Tom :smt006

Nice details on the wings. Looks almost like stained glass.

Thanks everyone - I'm not exactly a newcomer, but I haven't posted here in a looong time, so I might as well be.

I didn't have to cast a spell. This was an early morning shot of a newly emerged dragon. It did fly around, but not much. I was up to my shins in water at the edge of a pond for this, my tripod is still sloshing...
