Ah, I was looking at the same pattern just minutes ago. Urea has always been in my top list of chemicals for polarisation microscopy.

Ureum crystalizes very quick and easy and the girlfriend of my son works with it at the pharmacy so it's easy to get for me. It's very colorfull.
