I think it is Vorticella.

Nikon Plan Fluor 100x/1.3 oil, DIC, flash (1/2 power), 50D.
All resized from full frame.

I cleaned my sensor; but I can see two spot yet. :evil:

It looks like Vorticella to me. And now I see what they mean about DIC images not be representative of the real thing. It's like looking at one slice of the microbe, instead of the whole thing. :)
