My wife wanted a shot of this (beautiful scent to go with the colour too). It was planted by my late mother whose name was Rose...

Really nice rose picture Steve, the colors are fantastic. No bugs eating them :shock:

Thanks Doug. My Mum would have been proud!

Interesting comment about the lack of bugs. As I have been wandering around the house, I have found it quite difficult to find subjects to photograph. So far, I've only located 1 cat and that was under a coconut fibre mat, and only one lot of aphids (post to come). Also on the other side of the coin, very few ants, not many spiders (except the ones INSIDE the house!), and I haven't seen even 1 ladybug so far this year. Not even many flies for the great Aussie salute!
