Okay, this is pretty closeup:

Serval at our local zoo. He's alive and well, not a fur coat! It was hard to find a segment of Serval that was flat enough, parallel to the sensor plane, and still enough to photograph, so I had to settle for this--About a 50% crop by area of a full frame shot.

Cats have such fine hair, funny though how they are spotted like that. My old tomcat had some beautiful markings on him. Nice shot Mike, makes you want to reach over and pet it. :D
