This startled Centipede was still recovering after I rolled his wet-log home off him.................within seconds he had turned tail and vanished:

I'm amazed at the flexibility of those segmented antennae:

Thank you Jim...............getting the oily sheen to look just right is extremely difficult.............Centipedes are surprisingly clean and shiny considering the filthy damp conditions of where they have to live........I read somewhere that they take great pride in maintaining that shine:Jbailey wrote:Here's another good "turn".
