an other Radiolarian

This is an other living Radiolarian (from the Phaeodarea or from the Polycystinea?). You see the axopodia and the filopodia.
2 pictures:
Obj. 40x, DIC; stack with 7 pics
Obj. 20x, Phasecontrast, stack with 3 pics
points of petroleum jelly between coverslip and slide (in order to not compress the radiolarian)

These are great! Still am amazed how you find and isolate these subjects without a stereo microscope to search through your samples.
