Stephanoceros fimbriatus --- video

Post by ralfwagner »

Hello,

Stephanoceros fimbriatus is a very impressive rotifer. I catched him on a slide that has been in a garden pond for two weeks. Obviously he clinged to the slide waited there for me  .

First two pictures:

- Phasecontrast

Ralf,

That really is a wonderful rotifer!

The video is great! Thanks for posting this.

(You and Franz are making me think about dusting off the the phase contrast equipment! )

The view in full screen at 720p is astounding.
Thanks for sharing that Ralf.

Humble regards,
Jim

Hi and many thanks @all.

I was very excited when I did the video and so I don't remember exactly which objective I used with which series. But this is for sure: I have used only the 5x and the 10x, and the phasecontrast parts have been done with the 10x because the 5x is not a phase-objective.
