Have E500 w/35mm macro, use FL36 w/Lumiquest on Manfrotto.
1st attempt is an arrow practice tip, I.m into archery.

I have a macro rail on the way, cause focusing is hard, and I use coke bottle glasses :D

Greetings.

I've heard some very good things about that Olympus lens.

Any idea of the aperture set on the lens? While we're always battling the shallow DOF that close-up work presents, I wold think that you could get a little more than we are seeing here without stopping down so much that too much resolution is lost to diffraction.

Also, the focus appears to be accurately set just blow the tip, but it seems to me that threr's a little "jiggle" in something... either the subject or camera may have moved slightly. If you used the FL-36 flash, then this is puzzling to me.
