With blue-brown eyes and black dots on the face and abdomen. :shock:
Sucking on tiny green-white Foeniculum flower buds. :D

Really great looking fly pictures Nikola. All are very sharp and they fly contrasts very well with the plant. I love those big metallic eyes :shock:

I will ask about this fly to confirm my ID. But I think I'm right in this one. But I'm still learning. In ID of dipters we must be very careful. ;)

I was right.

This is Calliphoridae fly - Rhiniinae... AND

A male of Rhynchomyia sp. :)
