A very clean and detailed image. It would be interesting to compare the same image shot in brightfield illumination.

Vorticella are always interesting to watch and to photograph. I like COL, mainly because it is easy to do and does not cost an arm and a leg to incorporate like DIC equipment and gives pretty reasonable results when one wants a bit more detail in their micro images. Nice work here Bernhard, very nice micro indeed. :D
